HeyDJ team has been selling records and CDs on eBay for a few years before deciding to start an online store. Without being too overtly Web2.0 we created a wide search box to ensure maximum usability when visitors are searching, we used active vibrant colours to convey the mood HeyDJ is trying to get across to their visitors. The template was coded in xhtml format using external css file. Where possible png files were used as background images of the different layers. PNG gives maximum quality with quite small font size. The template includes a fly out vertical menu up that is three categories deep.
